About Services and Techniques
-
Uses silicone or plastic cups to create decompression. This lifts the skin, allowing for improved blood and lymph flow and increased hyaluranon production, which helps the layers of tissue slide and glide.
Facial cupping helps to boost collagen production, improve lymph drainage, and relaxes tight facial muscles. The overall health of tissues is improved from the inside out due to increased microcirculation.
Facial cupping has been shown to be helpful in reducing symptoms of TMJ dysfunction, headaches, and seasonal allergies. It is relaxing and typically does not leave any marks.

Gua Sha is a healing modality rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, meaning “scraping sand”. Traditionally, this treatment has been used to alleviate muscle soreness and pain, as well as optimize overall health and wellbeing.
A smooth tool made of gemstone or stainless steel is used on the tissues to improve circulation of blood and lymph. It helps to decrease puffiness in the face, and improves texture and health of skin.

Facial and mastication muscles are massaged internally, inside the mouth, and externally at the same time, which allows for deeper relaxation of tissues. There are many benefits, such as improved circulation of blood and lymph, reduced tension in muscles, increased relaxation, improved ROM, and a feeling of lightness and space in the face.
Intraoral work can be very beneficial for those experiencing TMJ dysfunction, headaches, and seasonal allergies.
Performed wearing sterile gloves for safety and with gentle pressure, as the muscles inside the mouth are delicate and often tender.
Please note, intraoral massage cannot be performed if botox or fillers were received in the past 2 weeks.
-
A slow and rhythmic technique used to promote flow of lymph, which promotes enhanced nourishment and oxygenation to the tissues, as well as increased removal of waste and stagnant fluids. The lymphatic system lives directly under the skin, so the technique is very gentle and calming. It has been shown to be helpful in reducing pain and treating common conditions such as headaches, migraines, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, seasonal allergies, discomfort and swelling after dental work, and sinusitis.
This technique is incorporated into every treatment due to its many benefits. It helps reduce excess swelling or puffiness in the face, as well as pressure and tension. The increased circulation and tissue nourishment leads to a radiant and glowing complexion.
Neck MLD is not recommended for those who experience cardiac arrhythmias, have had cervical node removal, and those taking thyroid medication.

Slow, gentle sustained pressure is applied to soften tissues and reduce pain. When blended with Swedish techniques it creates long, deep, and flowing strokes that allow you and your body to relax and release any tension. Good for pain management, stress reduction, and increased motion.
On the face and neck, MFR is used to create space and movement between the layers of tissues. This allows for deeper relaxation of the soft tissues, reducing pain and tension, as well as fine lines and wrinkles.
-
A holistic and effective approach to face massage that incorporates manual lymphatic drainage, face modeling and sculpting, buccal (intraoral techniques), and scalp massage.
NeoLifting® is relaxing and elevates your emotional wellbeing. It propels the internal resources of the body for natural rejuvenation and recovery. Some of the many benefits include increased blood circulation and lymph drainage, increased subcutaneous adipose tissue microcirculation, normalized cellular respiration and tissue nourishment, and activating the parasympathetic nervous system.
-
A comprehensive approach to treating soft tissue injuries and pain. It is not a specific modality or technique but includes an assessment and a variety of techniques to treat soft tissue conditions. Techniques used may include deep stripping, MFR, broadening, compression, friction, active-assisted stretching, and massage with passive and active engagement (movement of body part during massage technique), and strengthening/mobility exercises. Helpful for those experiencing pain after surgery, acute injury, or overuse strain injury.
-
A common style of massage that started in the 1800’s and uses five main strokes (effleurage, petrissage, friction, tapotement, and vibration) to improve circulation, decrease muscular tension, and promote relaxation. Has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, lower blood pressure, decrease pain, improve mood, and reduce muscle soreness and tension.
